The Haunted Arcade

With this piece I wanted to showcase that Im interested in creating things in a more realistic way in terms of shapes and textures. I leaned into my interest in the horror genre and made an Arcade cabinet thats somehow active despite having its power cord pulled. I wanted it to look and feel somewhat worn, as if its been greatly used once but has now been left in its own corner untouched and unrepaired. I modelled the cabinet and its surrounding diorama assets in maya, all highpoly versions were made in maya as well. I then textured everything in substance painter and rendered in marmorset toolbag 4. A Marmorset viewer can be found at the bottom of the page.

The effects with the flickering lights and screen distortion were animated in marmoset toolbag 4.

Heres a gif showing the difference between setting the textures of the arcade cabinet to 1k compared to 2k, which is what I chose to use for my renders.
